Monarch Bakery is a wonderful little bakery just across the freeway from the hotel. Just pull out of the parking lot to the light at Pleasant Hill Road. Turn left and cross over the freeway. At the first light, turn left and the bakery will immediately be on the right. It's not a restaurant with hot meals, it's a bakery with the sumptuous delights. Visit them while you are here.
