Atlanta has the High. It's a modern building on Peachtree St, full of paintings and sculptures. Often the museum borrows painting and exhibits from other well known museums. I remember once, they had the terra cotta Chinese soldiers that were over 2,000 years old. This is a must visit while you are in the city. If you are a guest in my hotel, just put 1280 Peachtree St NE, Atlanta, Ga, 30309 and you will arrive there. Plan on having to find parking (of which you might have to pay). What I would do is to drive to the closest Marta station which is at Doraville. You can park there for FREE and get on Marta and get off at the Art Station terminal. The museum is just across the street.
