This is an independently owned and run bookstore that has been there for over 30 years.  It REEKS with charm. You won't see a Starbucks in there or escalators or anything fancy. But you will see MAZES of old worn bookshelves, FULL of books. Books everywhere. In the back of the store, is a stairwell leading to a downstairs area full of even MORE books. And you'll see the resident cats roaming freely around - two of 'em. They have chairs placed throughout so that you can sit and browse. This is definitely a place to visit. If you are a guest in my hotel, the bookstore is about 30 minutes away driving time. It's in Chamblee which is a suburb on the inside of the Perimeter (285). The best way to get there is to put their address into your GPS because there is a little bit of turning here and there. Put 3660 Clairmont Road, Atlanta, Ga 30341 into your GPS and you will arrive there. Here are some pictures I took while I was there.
