As I'm sure you are aware, President Biden gave orders for us to pull out of the country based on past President Trump's agreement with the Taliban. And as you may be aware, the Taliban has taken over the country.
Just wondering your thoughts. Should we have pulled out at all. And what could we have done to prevent the catastrophe that has unfolded? If anything?

I don't think it matters whether Trump pulled them out or Biden pulled them out. Once we were out, this was bound to have happened. If you leave the toilet unattended, it's going to leak.
I think we should have been out of there years ago. There, and everywhere else. We have enough to worry about in our own country. That having been said, I don't think Biden was very smart to have so hastily left, leaving behind all of that equipment into the hands our enemies.

Are you sure? It seems to me that if we pull out of everywhere, chaos would follow. Don't you think that if we pulled out of South Korea, for example, that North Korea would invade them? Aren't we the only thing holding them back? I think it's necessary for us to have a presence in the world.
There comes a time when we have to think about the well being of our own country and let others stand on their own. If they fall, it's a tragedy but no more important than our own tragedy. Thanks to this baffoon supposedly in charge, he's just about decimated our own country and we need our attention here. It may be a sad reality but no where does it say we are responsible for the world. We're falling apart here. Let's bring our people home and let them police Chicago, Portland etc and get our own country in shape.

Couldn't we at least have taken our equipment with us!!!! If we knew we were going to leave the country, couldn't we have put a plan in place to take our humvees, our arms, our equipment BEFORE we left.

Without a doubt! But unless we stayed over there, these thugs were sure to come back to power. But at least they could have done it without our fire power. Great tragedy.
