New York City has Central Park. New Orleans has Audubon Park and Atlanta has Piedmont Park. With a long history of over 200 years from a forest to a farm to the park that it is today, it's full of history. One day, I started out at Mary Mac's Tea Room, had lunch, then I walked down Myrtle Street, enjoying all of the beautiful homes and I ended up here at the park. No matter how you get here, you'll enjoy this historic landmark.
Here are directions for you whether you plan on driving or using Marta. If you do plan on using Marta, the closest station from the hotel is the Doraville Station. You can park your car there for free, board the train and get off within walking distance of the park.
