One day, I decided to visit the famous and old Mary Mac's Tea Room which is at the corner of Ponce de Leon Ave and Myrtle Street. After eating there, I went outside and to the right, on the corner, sits a street sign for Myrtle Street. I decided that I would walk down the street and look at all of the pretty homes. And that's what these pictures are of. This street reminded me very much of the Garden District in New Orleans. You'll see a lot of wrought iron fences like they have down there. These several blocks connect Ponce de Leon Ave to 10th Street which is the entrance of the famous Piedmont Park.
So, you could make an afternoon of it (like I did) and have lunch at Mary Mac's, enjoy the beautiful homes and then, end up at Piedmont Park.
